As of right now, no adult sports are allowed in BC. We encourage teams to register but we will not be requesting payment until we know that we will be allowed to play.
Team reps please register your team. Players please register under your team name. All players MUST be on the roster to play. (Max 20 players per roster).
**Team's will be required to pay a fine of $150 and forfeit their game for using un-rostered players.**

Attendance must be tracked at each game/practice and submitted on the scoresheet document. Lake Country Softball must maintain that information in a secure location for a period of no less than ninety (90) days. This information will only be provided to an authorized health authority or local government representative who has the legal right to obtain such information, or to Softball BC staff for the purpose of contact tracing in the event of an outbreak of COVID19. All records are to be destroyed after the 90-day period.
*Failure to track attendance could result in forfeit of next game.*
SANITIZING CHAMPION
Prior to activities on the sport field, each team must assign a Sanitizing Champion who is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing equipment used by their team or group during the softball activity. It is also recommended that teams clean and sanitize dugouts (if they will be used), bases, and if fenced, the gates and latches leading into and out of the playing area prior to beginning the softball activity.
Once the game has ended, each team must clean and sanitize the area used, including, but not limited to, gates, latches and field equipment, bases, pitching machines, tees and/or nets, and dugouts and equipment storage areas if used.
COVID SCREENING

Team members must review the self-assessment signage before the game to attest that they are not feeling any of the COVID-19 symptoms.

Team reps may visually monitor team members to assess any early warning signs as to the status of their health and to touch base on how they are regarding their personal safety throughout the game.

ALL PLAYERS NEED TO REGISTER TO OBTAIN INSURANCE.
PLAYERS MUST SUBMIT A VALID SOFTBALL BC NUMBER. SUBMITTING A FALSE NUMBER WILL HAVE YOU REMOVED FROM THE GAME AND YOUR TEAM WILL FORFEIT. TEAM REPS, IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE ALL PLAYERS HAVE REGISTERED.
